Light Scattering in Random Media (Theory)

We theoretically and experimentally study the space-time properties of coherent and incoherent electromagnetic radiation and its linear interaction with heterogeneous dielectric media. Our sub-projects reflect a mixture of fundamental as well as applied problems, ranging from investigations of light localization based on Maxwell theory, improvements of the Boltzmann and diffusion equations, and our first in-house experiments.
