Scientific Literacy Essay

Performance Objectives:

The teacher candidate will:

• accurately distinguish between the varying types and degrees of scientific literacy.
• accurately characterize multidimensional scientific literacy.
• name and describe teaching practices that are believed to be associated with achieving scientific literacy, including classroom climate setting.
• explain how the classroom atmosphere can affect learning for scientific literacy.
