Interactive Physics Design Project

Performance Objectives:

• The teacher candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the use of Interactive Physics software.
• The teacher candidate will complete an Interactive Physics design project to help teacher candidates and their future students address some aspect of introductory physics not readily addressed using another approach.
• The project must satisfy the following requirements:
  • project represents a mechanical design problem that has practical applications in introductory physics teaching;
  • the activity must allows students to test different simulations of the design solution;
  • the submitted project must contain a student-oriented set of instructions that are submitted along with the design project.
