was born in Philothea, Mercer Co., OH 06/21/1921. Edward died
04/21/1974 in Celina, OH, at 52 years of age.
He married Agnes Louise Feltz in Sharpsburg,
OH, 06/21/1947. Agnes was born 05/20/1928. She is the daughter
of Edward Theodore Frank(s) Feltz and Mary Louise Muhlenkamp.
Edward Joseph Wenning and Agnes Louise Feltz had the following
children:
- 34 i. Patricia5
Wenning was born in Celina, Mercer County, OH 03/17/1948. Patricia
was stillborn, possibly resulting from an accidental fall of
her mother down a set of stairs while at home.
- 37 iv. Daniel (U) Wenning was born in Coldwater,
OH? 09/27/1949. Daniel died 09/28/1949 at less than one year
of age. He married an unknown person.

Joseph Wenning was born 11/03/1952. Carl graduated from Immaculate
Conception High School in Celina, OH, in 1971. He went on to
earn a BS degree in Astronomy from the Ohio State University
in 1976. Following 6 months of factory work, he attended graduate
school at Michigan State University where he earned an MAT degree
in planetarium education. He was hired by Illinois State University
and began work there on August 21, 1978, as planetarium director.
He remained in this position until June 30, 2001, when he officially
stepped down from that position. He was named coordinator of
the Physics Teacher Education program on July 1, 1994, and has
continued in that capacity ever since. Carl is anticipating retirement
at 55 years of age on August 31, 2008.
- 39 vi. Janice Marie Wenning was born in
Coldwater, OH 07/05/1956. She married Jerome
(Jerry?) "Shorty" Wesley Dues in Ft. Recovery, OH,
03/14/1974 (75?). Jerome was born 04/22/1953. He is the son of
Norman Dues and Merelda Meiring. (See Jerome

- 40 vii. Beverly Ann Wenning was born in
OH 03/12/1964. She married Thomas Young in
Coldwater, OH?, 01/07/1983. Thomas was born 08/07/1963. (See

- 41 viii. Timothy Leo Wenning was born in
OH 04/21/1970.
- 42 ix. Christina Renee Wenning was born
in OH 12/22/1971. She married Michael Broeker
in St. John, Mercer County, OH?. Michael was born in Montreal,
